Let's Celebrate! Arts for the Aging and Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County

In the summer of 2023, Arts for the Aging highlighted their partnership with the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County. This virtual exhibition celebrates the variety of languages, art forms, and experiences included in the multidisciplinary programming.

Weaving Words and Movement into Art

In the summer of 2022, Arts for the Aging worked in partnership with the Jewish Council for the Aging’s Kensington Club and Heyman Interages Center. Together a unique, meaningful four-week intergenerational program was created called “Weaving Words and Movement into Art.”

Aging and Integrative Pain Assessment Management Initiative (AI-PAMI)

In this series, Arts for the Aging teaching artists and researchers from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts explore the function and efficacy of the arts in pain management through interactive arts workshops and lectures led by experts in the fields of art therapy and creative aging.

It Has Been Home for Me

It Has Been Home for Me is a performance commissioned by ‘Dance On’, the Dance Exchange creative aging program, with support from Arts for the Aging, National Endowment for the Arts, and the City of Takoma Park. It premiered on October 22, 2021 at the Takoma Park Community Center.
