Teaching Artist Institute: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Etiquette Training. Arts for the Aging Program Director Sarah House and Rose Ansara, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program Director for East of the River Socialization Hub, East River Family Strengthening Collaborative present a training on working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Rose presents information about the etiquette of working and communicating with individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and Sarah shares questions from teaching artists.

Music and Visual Art with Chris and Marcie
Relax and create in Creative Café with Arts for the Aging Teaching Artists Marcie Wolf-Hubbard and Chris Brown. Combine drawing, collage, and “up-cycling” (using materials you intend to recycle) with guidance from visual artist Marcie in a direct response to Chris’ live, improvisational bass music. Participants use pencils, paper, watercolors, glue, and scissors to create layered works of art.
