Lenique Huggins  |  Program and Communications Intern

Lenique Huggins is a Program and Communications Intern at Arts for the Aging. She holds a degree in Biology from Duke University and is interested in the intersection of arts and health, particularly for minority groups and older adults. Lenique is passionate about arts education. She has taught visual and performing arts at a K-10 school, started an art class at a local family shelter, and hosted a program for adults with dementia through Duke Nasher Museum. Her research has focused on dementia, aging, and health disparities and her artwork is displayed at Duke Aging Center. She enjoys dancing, singing, repping her Caribbean culture, and laughing with her friends and family.
