
Jackie Vinick | Director of Development
Jackie Vinick joined the Arts for the Aging team as director of development at the start of 2023. Jackie previously served as corporate partnerships manager over a period of 20+ years at Friends of the National Zoo, the non-profit fundraising and support arm of the Smithsonian’s National Zoo, where she secured significant funding for Zoo facilities, exhibitions and special events through corporate and in-kind sponsorship. Jackie introduced the Zoo’s popular Halloween event and annual winter lights festival, ZooLights, obtaining substantial funding through corporate sponsorship support, product donation, and media coverage. She also planned and executed the successful introduction of the Zoo’s first temporary art exhibition in 2016, Washed Ashore, overseeing its three-month presentation to the public as well as publicity and fundraising efforts. Following her long tenure at the National Zoo, she served as senior vice president, business development for WTS International, a worldwide spa, fitness and leisure management firm, where she directed sales efforts, proposal submissions, and worked closely with the business development team to develop new client relationships. Jackie holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis.
