Jackie Vinick (she/her) is Arts for the Aging Director of Development. She is leading fundraising efforts at the organization, focused on growing institutional and individual giving. Jackie was corporate partnerships manager at the Smithsonian’s Institution’s Friends of the National Zoo, where she secured funding for facilities, exhibitions, and special events., including  the Zoo’s popular Halloween t and annual winter lights events and introduction of the Zoo’s first temporary art exhibition in 2016, Washed Ashore, Subsequently, she was senior vice president of business development for WTS International, a worldwide spa, fitness, and leisure management firm, where she directed sales efforts, proposal submissions, and worked closely with the business development team on new client relationships. Jackie received her bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Jackie’s interest in impact-driven programming was inspired by the “Virtual Hand” project she co-created with her daughter, which delivers virtual, interactive programs, and fitness classes, art workshops, dance parties and music programs for members of the intellectually and developmentally disabled (IDD) community living in group homes across Maryland. Jackie also loves to volunteer her time at a local animal shelter. She has three daughters and three cats!
